what is atmospherism?

atmospherism is the process of uniting human expression through sound. founded in western new york state by alex vendura, atmospherism provides primarily sound services for film and video productions.
I have been a musician for 14 years, starting off with concert tuba in 4th grade and eventually producing my own music, keyboards, and bass guitar. since then, I have been practicing sound and video production in different ways for 8 years. I went off to study sound recording technology in the school of music at SUNY Fredonia, learning how to integrate the musical ear into the technical field of sound production. After graducting in 2022, I have been working in the live music field as well as the film production field. My favorite part of production sound is being on my feet in new and dynamic locations, working with the crew to problem solve on the fly and capture beautiful sound.

sound is an often underrated, but wildly important piece to any film. at atmospherism, we strive to enhance and enrich the viewer experience through the vibrations received by our ears.
theatre sound
theatre is a place of much emotion, spanning all sorts of human experiences. theatre has a limb apart from film in that the audience connects to the performers super-visually. this also includes sound to further immerse one into the dramatic world.
music production
the soundtracks of our lives are increasingly expected to deliver professional quality to our listeners. be it studio recording, mixing, mastering, or live music, we have it covered.
